The motorway motel accommodation in France will consist of en suite rooms with either one double bed, 2 singles, or a 4 person room with one double bed and two singles.  We will base our motel room bookings on the number of people in your vehicle.  However, if there are only 2 people in your vehicle, but you still require a 4 person room, please let us know when booking.  Anyone wanting more than 1 room for any reason must advise us at the time of booking, and pay any additional costs this incurs.

All vehicles must be legally insured to drive on the continent.  Check with your motor insurance company regarding this.  You may also need a green card, let your insurance company know you will be driving in France, Andorra and Spain.

All drivers and passengers must have relevant medical cover.  You also need to obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).  This is the replacement for the Form E111. (applications can be made online or at your local Post Office)

Proof of vehicle and medical cover will be required prior to departure.  Also, your driving license will need to be available for inspection.

No trailers or caravans permitted.  If you intend using a roof rack or roof box please advise us first, as the ferry operator may levy a surcharge for vehicles over 2.4 metres high.

All drivers must complete a disclaimer at the start of the trip.  This is to indicate that they themselves are responsible for their vehicle, passengers and contents.  All passengers must be legally seated in the vehicle.  Please ask if you'd like to see a copy of this disclaimer prior to booking.

In the event of a breakdown, we will try to assist, and if unable to repair, we guarantee to get you to a recoverable position or a local garage.  If you would like more backup than this, we suggest you obtain European breakdown cover.  Recovery costs from the continent can be very expensive.  We strongly advise all entrants to take out European recovery cover.

The bungalow accommodation in Andorra is similar in size and layout to a small static caravan.  Each one has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), and a lounge/kitchen area which doubles as a third bedroom.  There is a toilet in each bungalow, and each one also has an outdoor decking area.  We now use the larger bungalows which have a slightly larger lounge/kitchen area and the addition of a shower cubicle/washroom in the bungalow, and hot running water.  An excellent shower block is also located on the site which is free to use, for those who prefer to have more space when showering.  All gas and electricity used within the bungalow is included in the entry fee.

Bookings for this event must be made a minimum of 10 weeks prior to the departure date.  A £249 deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure a place on the trip.  This gives a final booking date of 7th July 2012.

The balance of £850 must be paid at least ten weeks prior to departure.  If you cancel your booking more than 10 weeks prior to the departure date, any monies paid other than the deposit will be refunded to you.  Between booking and the closing date, you may if you wish pay in instalments.

If, for any reason, the event has to be cancelled by us, full refunds will be given, including your deposit.  You should note that we can only confirm the event will run once we have sufficient bookings.

Ferry crossings and times may vary depending on factors outside our control.

Cheques are to be made payable to ukLANDROVERevents.  We can accept credit card payments online if needed, but they will be subject to a 3% surcharge.
