ukLANDROVERevents have been operating driving events specifically for Land Rovers since 2002.

We run guided Green Lane Tours in the UK, Off Road Holidays abroad, and 4x4 Experience Days.

Customers can either use their own Land Rover, or drive one of our fully off road prepared Land Rovers.

SUPPORTED CHARITY 2008

ukLANDROVERevents has in the past supported teams entering the Mac4x4 Challenge charity driving event.  This year, we have decided to promote and support Mark Robson's cross Channel swim in aid of the newly formed charity J-A-C-K.  Details of Mark's huge task, including details of his training and progress to date can be found on his blog, detailed below.  You can also find below further details of the charity who stands to gain from his fundraising effort.  We will be making a donation to Mark's sponsorship appeal, and hope some of our customers may also like to assist him as he aims to reach his target of £10,000.  You can donate directly from this page, by clicking the donate button which will take you to his JustGiving charity page.

Introduction from Mark:
 
For more than 30 years I have dreamt about the mammoth task of swimming the English Channel.  I recall witnessing the occasional televised success of the likes of Marcus Hooper on Blue Peter!  I realistically made the firm decision to make every effort to realise the dream a couple of years ago.  I had a couple of things to attend to, but slowly began to lay the foundations for what awaits.  I am a member of the Channel Swimming Association and my Pilot (Andy King) is booked for tides in August 2008.  Having completed Ironman Austria in July 2007, it is now time at last to throw away the bicycle and running shoes and hit the water without interruption.
The blog will chronicle my English Channel Swim training along the way.  Here goes...
